Thanks tugly. I will keep on eye on that today as I drive around. Would a faulty MAP sensor cause this? I dont have a check engine light at all.
I had a MAP issue once, and the CEL would be triggered... depending on the problem with it. The MAP and the Exhaust Back Pressure signals that will effect nuances in tuning and fuel efficiency, but you haven't described anything that takes us that far into troubleshooting. I have had air in my oil countless times because of oil changes and modifications to the engine. The truck is slow to start and runs a little weird until I either drive long and hard, or just drive about 50 miles and let it sit overnight. You'll know more tomorrow.
OK, drove quite a bit yesterday. Still not a lot of power at acceleration. Starts great even in the cold and idles real nice but just doesn't have the same power it used to. I cleaned the EBP tube today and it didn't change anything. Any other thoughts?
UPDATE: I replaced the ICP sensor about 3 weeks ago and all is well. My lack of power was due to a disconnected turbo intecooler pipe. Didn't see it on my first inspection as it was not obvious. I guess I did not tighten it enough after doing the UVCH mod.
