Coolant leak

It seems like I am leaking coolant possibly near the rear of the motor. What possible causes would there be for that and how difficult are they to repair? I noticed it while changing my oil.

Unless it's been previously changed there's a short red hose between the EGR cooler and oil cooler housings that goes bad and should be upgraded to the blue hose. It usually leaks when temps fall below 40 or 50. That's the most common leak. It's really more towards the front of the motor but runs down the valley and off the bell housing of the tranny.

I seem to be having this same issue. I'm wondering if I'm seeing the hose you are talking about. Is it kind of under the turbo?

If you install the coolant filter, check the connection of the "T" and look for the wetness below the "T" on the head cover. Mine leak there.
