sudden shutdown
I started my truck this morning, 97 4.6 4x4,after just a minute it just suddenly shutdown as if I turned off the ignition,the dome light flashed about 4 times and that was it.I turned off the ignition and then tried to restart but would not.

problem solved guys, thanks.The issue must have been a bad cable connection.Put this in your your bag...With a bad connection I have never heard of this.It started good,no problem,I say this because most know if a ford does not have a good connection 9 times out of 10 you get the click.click.click.Ok keep going...the lights never went dim like a battery drain with charge,the engine just died like I turned of the igniition...instantly..then would not get the click when i tried to restart.it was like the battery was dead ,but i still had interior lights(bright)...and headlights worked fine.a real head scratcher..the only thing i figure is maybe the battery ground cable?
