Already taking down Valentine's stuff eh? Interesting. I am waiting for the Christmas stuff to come out. Seems they keep getting earlier, and earlier, so why not bring it out in February?

right Jim? what the hay?! its like shortly after christmas/shopping they remove all the cold weather clothes and hang up the bathing suits. towels and sun screen go on sale... its like, "uhhh, did i miss something?" isn't winter still hanging around another two, maybe three months?
in other news, my truck made it to the dealership. *sigh* i was so stressed out at work that on my drive home i may or may not have accidentally cut a guy off. i walked through the door, poured a beer and took the dog for a quick walk. needless to say, i'm working on beer number two. total truck-fix-cross right now, is at $1430.00. this cost does not fix the transmission issue, fix the power steering issue, and may not fix the fuel leak issue.
i think what frustrates me the most is the fact i can't do the work where i live. i don't have the tools, or the space to do it. i know sometimes we just have to suck it up and take our trucks in... but man. this just takes wind out of my sails. fourteen hundred dollars worth. i 'spose the good news is i set a budget of $1500. i guess i was just hoping that 1500 dollars would fix what was broke/wrong.
i don't want to take this rant any further... so, i'll leave it at that. i'm headed to mobile, AL on sunday for some training and won't be back until next wednesday evening. if you don't see my name for a few days thats why.
i hope you guys are having a better thursday than me. i'm big-time bummed...
