Elm 327 is worthless on these trucks. It will read codes sometime but not live data worth anything. I was gonna try the plxkiwi I believe it is. It is supposed work much better but about a $120. I bought AE so never spent a whole lot more time on it.
....damn thing wont connect to the ECU. Got all other "connections" had, but wont receive data. BUMMED.

The
works well for me for $15 or so. Scan too many PIDs at once and it slows down, but I can get a hpop health check out of it.
