Does it cover any Ford Diesel / 6.0 codes at all?

I am interested in this. I'd like to know what the various scanners have over one or the other as well.

haven't used the apps listed. I did goto obdsoftware.net and got a free two week trial to work with the cheap bluetooth OBDII scanner I got.

I plugged it in and it seems to work for general stuff, but I don't understand everything to look at nor what important stuff is missing. I know there is stuff missing, but I don't know if that's a result of the scanner or the software.

If I need a better scanner, I can purchase one. But I'd like to know what people think is the best software.

I did go to ... scantool.net and their software only works with their scanners. The software looks like the same software I got for the two week trial from the screen shots. I downloaded their free software and it wouldn't work with my cheap bluetooth scanner.

Anyway, I'm interested in this thread. Not sure what I'm trying to accomplish with the scanner, but it's kinda cool

I do not have personal experience with this program, but know someone who does, and recommends it. Tech Support is very good with them as well. They will offer the enhanced codes you are looking for.

 

Yea, I was looking at them for a bit because of the iphone app. Unfortunately, the bluetooth reader/scanner won't work with iphone/ipad. Not sure how much I want to spend on this little venture without a particular goal in mind.

But the palmer performance stuff does look pretty cool.

I got the free ULTRA OBD app und used it with my normal cheap OBD adapter. It finds much more than all these other OBD apps.
For those who are interested I post the links, since it is not really easy to find as it is not advertised like those expensive tools - it's still kind of secret tip

I HIGHLY recommend Forscan https://forscan.org/ for codes. I use a cheap bluetooth ELM adapter with my android device with the Torque app for general monitoring while I'm driving.
