Had 2 pick ups leave me down, one keeps breaking as I fix it, the other is a major job. A/C compressor took a poo, and locked up shreading the belt, which ripped/ tore most of the wiring harness off the fron to the motor, causing a fire at the alternator.
Then the truck I chose to use to replace it blew the power steering cap off, and make a mess. I oring the cap, and it stuck down pretty good.

Good enough to allow the pressure to blow out the high pressure hose.
Replaced the box, pump, and hoses

While putting it back together, the belt tensioner decided to cut loose while I had my fingers in there. Broke the serp wrench, and YES, that left a mark
Then the TPS took a poo, so I had to pull the throttle body part way off, twisted both screws off the tps, so it needed an appointment with the drill press and the tap ease.
That caused a pinhole in the throttle body coolant line, which needed my attention

All together, it blew out an idler pulley, which shredded the belt.

Add to all that my normal routine and A few naps here and there...... You get it...

Man that sucks.......... Same old thing here, more work........Trying to get the base cleaned up for our meeting on the 19th. I've got just a couple wires left to hook up and the lathe will be running, but just haven't had the time to do it. Harley and I have been moving my cyclone fence over to the new location. I bought another 2,000 sq ft next to my main building. Harley has to finish up the engine install on his 2 ton truck so we can go haul more material for the building.

Morning guys, just up and getting ready for work. I ordered a new water oump for the Galaxie and it came in yesterday, looks like the Postal service dropped it on the shaft, so it has to go back...

Yea, the company will pay to ship it back and send a new one, I'm not in a big hurry, I still have to pull the intake and replace the intake gaskets.

Good morning Oregon FTE gang and friends.

Morning Don, Charlie, Allen and Rob.

Charlie, I'm glad you chimed in about the spring on the brake drum... I thought it was part of the kit when you bought shoes but it's been so long since I've done work on rear brakes I'd forgotten for sure.

I woke up late, got to work on time (almost) and jumped right into work. That sucks! And it's cutting into my FTE time.

Not much going on. I'm stuck in the office for the next few days. It's supposed to get really warm today and the rest of the week. Mid 90's... that's just plain hot and stickey around these parts.

Not the kit O'Reilley or Napa has. They only have the top springs.
