I had an interesting conversation with Peter, the Ports main engineer yesterday. I've been asked to speak at the roundtable discussion on the 19th about my ideas for the radar base. Not to sure how they will take what I have to say........We'll see...

Shoot Don! They asked you to come... give it to them with both barrels. 
It doesn't get much better than when someone asks you for your ideas/opinion. Just don't go and get yourself arrested for raising too big a fuss.

I was really surprised with the way the meeting went. Peter and I haven't exactly seen eye to eye on much......
He had two engineers from Portland with him, and they both agreed with me on just about everything which surprised him I think. We actually came to agreements on several things. He praised Harley's and my work on the base and said it looks better than it has in 30 years. We'll see how it goes at the meeting on the 19th........
P.S. All the LEO's around here are friends of mine so I think I'll be OK.....................lol
