Don, even better, Lincoln, Nebraska has a Greyhound station. My stepson could pick them up for me, he's in school down there, and it's only 50 miles.

Good question, I don't have his addy!! Now, I did find out that there is a bus station here in Omaha still. It's not Greyhound, it's Burlington. I think they can transfer it to them, and bring it here. Just need to know where it would come from.

I know theres a Grayhound in Hermiston, but it's farther away. I'll have Melody check if there is still one in The Dalles today...

The Dalles is about 100 miles away and Hermiston is about 130 miles away.

Don, this is from the Trailways site, which comes into Omaha. See if any of these are near you. The ones with the little boxes do the package service.

The nearest one to me is almost 200 miles away from me. Told ya I live out in the boonies.....

It did answer one question tho. The Dalles (closest to me...) doesn't do packages.....Damn...

Morning guys,

I had an interesting night. Went to change the front brake shoes only to find out I need to pull the entire hub off. Unscrew the dust cap and pop. "Where the heck did all those parts come from?!" Spent the next hour comparing to the parts diagram and the other side until I finally got it back together. I need more time/experience before I pull that whole thing off, might leave it to Les Schwab this time.

Is there anyone on here in the Portland area? I'm pretty handy, just missing the knowledge. Stuff like repacking bearings and such I've never learned.

Yeah, those hubs can be tricky, just have to pay close attention to what goes where when you take them apart.
