Oh. Where is the water from? under ground, or supplied?
We have a great water system here at the old base, and I'm licensed by the state to take care of it and the sewer system. Our water is so good the state does not require us to treat it at all!
Our well is 1,600 feet deep, 12" in dia. We are drawing the water from 600 feet down, and the static level is around 200 feet. Main deep well pump puts out 150 gal/minute, and we have a 74,000 gallon main storage tank. The water then goes to 3 boost pumps that keep the water pressure at 60psi. We have fire hyd all over the base and housing, and I can start the 40 HP fire boost pump from my house!
Nah, we're good. Our problems wasn't the people running the plant, or the maintenance. It was the a s shats in management making stupid decisions, and putting off repairs so they could keep their bonuses.
