Not sure Chris, I had an 87 4X4 F250 full float and they were pretty straight forward once you got the wheel and the drum off. Have to make sure the Parking brake is off. I've got a Haynes Manual around here someplace that covers 80 thru 96.
I have a Haynes also and they say something about bearing preload and pulling axle.
Never had to do that with my 87, but the ones on my 96 are going to be a real bear. I've been told that I probably will not be able to do them myself. Don't know - the need hasn't arisen yet. The State passed a special law just for me - "unlawful possession of a wrench with the intent to use on a vehicle."
I think they are talking about the sealed or hidden ones like on my 96. You can't even easily inspect the pads on it. Have no idea when they started changing the design. My Haynes doesn't say anything about bearings or pre loads for the rear brake job. Pages 9-5 and 9-6. You may have a "smarter" book than I have.
I would pull the wheel and see if the drum pops off. If it does then I would think it is pretty much the "old fashioned" type of "easy" job.
I would rather pass this on to someone else but finances and the fact that local wrencher's are unable to get it done. Had them done in 08 and not that many miles on it since and had the drivers side mess up on me out near Fort Rock.
Good morning Oregon, happy Friday, and welcome to the first official day of Summer!!!

Morning Tiny! Don, that must have been funny as hell!!! Beautiful day here, should be near 90. Spent most of the day yesterday buffing and waxing the boat. Got pretty oxidized last summer, and I didn't have a chance to buff it out before I stored it. Looks nice now.

Well, hopefully by the end of next week, I'll be ready to set the cab of the 67 back upright, and get to work on removing the cowl, dash, and cab corners. Gotta remember to stop and get epoxy primer.
Maybe it's just my idiot father-in-law but he's lost all of his marbles
He called me out of the blue yesterday and asked me to go and look at a boat with him. He has a boat sitting in his garage rotting away because he never took care of it. For Pete's sake he can't even back up a trailer.
My mother-in-law woke my wife up at 6:00 am and told us he's already put money down on the damn thing.
I might need to grab him by the collar and give him a few back hands across the face and see if that knocks any sense into his pea brain. Stupid impatient old fart!
ARGH! There are stupid people everywhere I turn!
Never ever EVER buy a brand new boat. Especially one you have to finance. I've found several really nice boats on Craigslist for half what he's looking at spending.
