Now somewhere there has got to be a law against doing that to a ford truck. A chevy might be O.K., but a Ford? That could be considered a shooting offense!
Morning Don. Busy day ahead with more errands to run. Have to get some camper tie downs ordered for the pickup amongst other things.
Sometime today I think I am going to make time to check and see if I can't get a sheet of plywood to work as a leveler in the back of the pickup. I have a goose neck connection that sticks up about a 1/2 to 3/4 inch. I thought maybe, if I could get a sheet of plywood to put in the pickup with a hole cut in it for the goose neck, then the camper could sit level with no pressure point as opposed to taking the goose neck ball and plate out every time we loaded the camper.
So, the wife is happy she gets a new camper now? Harley and I will be working on a garage roof today. If the rain stays away long enough...
Yep, wife is very happy. I even got to move inside to my own bed from the kennel last night. Gee, sure is nice being out of the dog house.
We signed some papers yesterday and the dealer is starting on some adjustments and minor repairs I insisted on since they wouldn't come down on the price any. It is darn hard to horse trade when my wife and two other prospective buyers are going through the camper oohing and awing at everything with big puppy dog "I got to have it" eyes.
Well I have to pull the carb off my 66 4x4 this afternoon, then take it over to my son in Portland, the carb on the Booger truck has gone south and he can not get it fixed. Switch it out and I will bring it back and see what I can do with it.
