2013 Knee-deep BS thread!
Remember, It's just the machine w/o tooling.
Everything go OK at the bone crunchers today?
Now to go baby sit a bunch of adults ( I hate it when people whine and snivel about small stuff and don't want to get along over something dumb).

I have actually heard some people insinuate that if you served in the military during peace time, it's because you were too lazy to go to college or get a real job.

After this, I had to take my wife and MIL to three different cemeteries.
While taking care of business and changing flowers at my granddaughters grave site, I "unretired" for 45 minutes and went back to being a cop and EMT again.
A UPS semi with a 40' box WB on Hwy 99W at 50 to 55 MPH, met up with a small green van that had been SB on Hwy 47 and failed to yield. I didn't actually see the impact but I heard the sound that I have heard too many times before and then saw the smoke and the flying parts.
Jumped over the bank, called 911 and tended to the injured until all of the troops could get on scene. I had to reach and twist around what I think used to be a door and door post and through a hole where a windshield used to be to get to the most seriously injured victim. I guess one of the first fireman/EMT's to arrive got a little excited because my shirt had pulled up far enough to expose the Glock I had on. Once we got that straightened out, and I relayed the vitals I had taken, he and his buddies took over.
I can safely say that side air bags definitely saved the day for several very, very lucky people in a small van.
I then slipped out the "back way" in the ensuing confusion, and went back to the cemetery where I had a heck of a time trying to climb back up the 12' vertical bank that I now wonder how in the heck I got down without breaking my neck. Back in the cemetery I used the water spigot there to clean the blood and the mud off.
However, my wife was prompt to chew me a "new one" because I had taken off at a dead run while talking on the cell phone and jumped off of "that cliff" (which I think she had the biggest problem with) and because I was retired, didn't have my go bag, including gloves etc., etc., etc.. But, now that she has calmed down, I'm a hero so it may be a better night!

And.............how did your day go?
