If you needed to, looks like you could cut a bigger hole in that loft floor, so you could lift stuff up there for storage. That building has a huge beam running across it!

We plan on using the loft for sheet metal storage only, and I'm adding a fold down stairs for access. The area where you can see upstairs will be insulated and walled off from the main high bay. Those beams are 6X12's, the walls are made from 6X6 timbers. The building's here at the base were made to last forever. The mess hall we're going to dismantle is built the same way. Post and Beam construction.......

Morning Oregon FTE gang and friends.

Windy and rainy here in the Metro Area this morning.

I walked to work today (about a mile) for the first time in several years.

I decided that I needed the exercise and could save a buck by not driving too.

Nothing too exciting going on around here.

Morning Tiny. I wish I was close enough to walk to work! It's 28 miles one way for me, unfortunately.

Don, you ain't kidding. They weren't screwing around when they put those building up!!

Well guys. Looks like I'm single again. Wife popped the "D" on me late last night. Been filing the papers today. Man it's a lot of BS to go through. Hopefully I'll be able to keep everything. We've already came to terms fwiw, but doesn't mean much till it's on paper or completely done with.

Derek,

That sucks! I know in some situations that it's for the best in the long run but I imagine that the BS along the way isn't anything I ever want to deal with.

My wife and I have our share of disagreements... I decided long ago that I'm going to do what it takes to make things work out. Most of the time I remember before I get her really mad at me.

Just remember that Marriage is the leading cause of divorce in America.

Sorry to hear that Derek.

Sometimes I don't think women know what they want. Well over 70% of divorces are initiated by women, and they are usually the ones pushing to get married to begin with.

No kids, right?
