Just got some really really really really............good news from one of my docs at the VA, (A doc that works on Sunday? - I'll take it in this case), so I'm taking off out to the farm and let the folks know. Something that needs to be done in person and not over the phone.
Talk at you all later tonight.
Morning everybody. Loooong night for me last night....... I had a couple gold miners that I build equipment for show up around 2:00 from Montana yesterday. They want to lease my partners and my gold mine. They were here until midnight.......I called my partner and we agreed. NO LEASE! Now we are talking about selling the mine to them. We'll see how far this goes. Been there, done that, and won't ever lease a mine again. If they are serious, they can find the cash and buy the damn thing........
I hope everyone remembered to Spring Forward yesterday.
Putting in some time in my office chair today.
I'm loaning one of my vehicles to my son today... We'll see how that works out. It's actually supposed to be his anyway but he hasn't expressed any interest in actually getting his drivers license. He's 21 and still has his driving permit. His girlfriend has her license so at least one of them is legal to drive it.
The poor old girl has been sitting in the driveway for several months. It wouldn't pass DEQ in October when the tags expired so I parked it until I want to take the time to figure out what is wrong. Something emission related... I guess I need a better shop manual than the Chilton one that I have.
It's a '90 Ford F150, 4 X 4, XLT Lariat with only 70K on the clock. It's spent too much of it's life not being driven.
My wife asked me if I thought it would start. I just scoffed, HA! Started up on the first crank.
