jpeckham: Is your Ranger an STX? It makes a difference inre to slip yokes/companion flange. Once I know, will list the part number/sources.

You would know better than me. I was just going by what is in the 1987 Ford shop manual.

1948 thru 2001 Ford truck parts catalogs: Driveshaft (4602) front / Coupling shaft (4817) rear.
