I was wondering if anyone happens to know what length the rear driveshaft on a '96 F350 CC 4x4 Longbox would be????? I did a search and couldn't find what I was looking for. I've tried the local wrecking yards and none of them have one and the local stealership didn't have a clue. Numberdummy, are you out there???

Yes, but I can't help..sorry....no parts books after 1989. The dealership has the books with ALL the driveshaft and coupling shaft measurements. But...The dealership doesn't have anyone qualified to look in those books. Most of the "bodies" don't know a driveshaft from an elevator shaft.
Contact FTE sponsor y2kfordparts ...Willie can help you. y2k IS a Ford dealer with REAL help, not like most of the dealership parts idjits that are only there for a paycheck.
Be prepared when you contact Willie. List the VIN, engine size, transmission type, GVW, 2 or 4WD and especially the wheelbase. Looking up some of the shafts isn't easy...it's impossible without enough information.
