I just installed new door glass runs on one door and it seems very tight. I am certain that it is installed correctly. I sprayed silicone on the channel and still is very very tight? Any suggestions of another product or does it just take time to wear in? I am afraid I will break the window handle. Thanks
Shouldn't be that tight. I can't say from other companies, but the ones from Dennis Carpenter works great. Make sure the window is rolling up straight and not binding or that would make it very tight.
I put new weatherstripping on my windows last summer and if I recall there is two bolts on the jam side of the doors for one rail and another bolt behind the door panel for the other rail. I think you just loosen them and make a adjustment, lightly tighten the bolts then try it. If it helps tighten them. There's also a screw up on the jam by the vent window in the jam that supposedly lets you do some adjustment but it did little for me. I'll look in the manuals tonight.
