Okay, so I was driving today and all of a sudden coming to a stop I felt a vibration and once I stopped it stalled. I can restart truck in Park or Neutral and will start up idle fine act normal you name it. As soon as I put in in Reverse or Drive it will feel like its going to move then stall. I'd been having a ticking noise coming from the bell housing area and I thought it was a cracked flexplate so I was actually going to replace that with my mechanic but driving today this problem occurred which leads me to think the torque converter locked up and stayed like that or the transmission has internal problems. Well I am leaning towards that, but someone told me that if it was the torque converter it would try to move even in park and I honestly didnt feel that. It happened few hours ago and it was dark lol I didnt pay attention to that

 

If anybody else would like to chime in id appreciate it, today its going to the mechanic but i want to know you guys opinion!

 

Yes, converter could be bad but could also be stuck valve in valve body. Drop valve body and clean.
