Just wondering if theres is a way to tell if its the TCC sielinod or if its the torque converter? Heres my issue just put a used trans in did by the books used all me sensors and sillyniods 80,000 miles did this bought two weeks ago truck has done great till yeasterday I got stop at a stop sign and it acted as if I was not pushing in the clutch so I make it home putting the truck in nuteral at every stop. Now that its home I get in start it right up runs strong no miss in idle or nothing till I put it in gear it jumps and then dies but if I give it gas it will go but its like leaveing a stop in a stanandard in the wrong gear once it gets up to speed its fine till I stop (NOTE) reverse works fine no stall seems normal.I know its the converter locked up but not sure if its the Tcc sillynoid, tps or the torque converter is bad.Im going to replace the TCC sillynoid in the morring so any insight would be great before I get in to the pan.
It was the TCC sensor or sillynoid changed the hole board works great now 30 min job nice had me worried there for a minute.Hope this will help someone in the future. Not much out there on this issue...
