Radiator Support

Gents, I picked up a radiator support I thought would fit my 1973 f100.
Turns out it's a bit different. The 1973 has 4 headlight bracket mounting holes like the one in this ebay link.
The one I bought looks very similar but only has 2 headlight bracket mounting holes in the center area. A couple of the other mounting holes are off a bit.
Any idea what year/model this support fits?

Could it be for a 78-79 with square headlights?

1973/79 F100/350: There are THREE different radiator supports!

D8TZ-16138-A .. Radiator Support-Use with rectangular headlamps: 1978/79 F100/350 & Bronco.

Has 2 sets of mounting holes: 23" between centers, 28 1/2" between centers.

The area behind the headlamp buckets is dished inwards to allow the rectangular buckets to fit correctly.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
1973/79 F100/350 with round headlamps: There are TWO different radiator supports!

D3TZ-16138-B .. Radiator Support-28 1/2" between radiator mounting holes.

D3TZ-16138-D .. Radiator Support ~ 2 sets of mounting holes: 23" between centers, 25 1/2" between centers.

The optional Super Cooling Radiator is higher than the Standard, Xtra Cooling & A/C radiators, so its specific radiator support has a larger opening radius.

Super Cooling Radiator measures: 26 1/4" wide x 24 1/8" high // Standard/Xtra Cooling/A/C radiators measure: 26 1/4" wide x 19 3/4" high.

Put your grill, inserts & head light buckets all together then put a couple bolts in to hold the grill to the core support Mark where you need to drill the hole for the head light buckets real good pull the grill back off drill your holes & bam good to go.

Numberdummy, thanks for the info. I did manage to find a number stamped in the top of the support. 16139 BA. Is this a number you reconize?
