how far do you drive after the message comes on? it usually takes the filer 10-15 minutes to clean. if you only drive a few miles/ minutes after that message comes up on the screen, the truck will go back into cleaning once the truck gets started again and up to the proper temperature. the only way on these trucks that u can tell it is done cleaning is watching the instant fuel mileage guage if u have the lcd screen on the dash. if driving at a steady pace or on cruise control, if the truck is cleaning the filter the green instant mpg bar will be a little bit below the average mpg line, and when its done cleaning the green bar will go back up to the average mpg line.

I never could tell when it was in regen and I never did see the message saying it had started. I bought an Edge CTS Insight and now I can tell when it is in regen. I think Ford should have put an indicator light on the dash telling us when it was in regen. I was surprised at how far I had to drive the first time it went into regen after I got my Edge installed.
