This last weekend while out of town I started having a fuel leak. I attempted to get it home but it got too bad and had to leave it. From the research I've done it seems to be the passengers side fuel line. I couldn't see where it was leaking but it was spraying fuel up toward the rear passenger valve cover. I am going to pick the truck up tomorrow and bring it home.
If it is the fuel line is this a dealer only part? If not where would be the best place to get one. I am planning on getting the o ring kit to rebuild the filter bowl also when I fix this.
Is there anything else I should think about replacing while I'm doing this job?

Thanks in advance for all the responses.
Thers a metal fuel line running 2 the back of the pass side head from the fuel bowl. Look up under the turbo on the passenger side head. Theres a metal clamp with a 13mm bolt in it. Those clamps are bad about rubbin a hole in the fuel line. Check ther.

DITTO read up about this clamp and fuel line in a later post. Said the clamp rubs a hole in the line. I think clay might have the line but thats a guess. If not the stealership or Trousley parts depot.
Id like to know if there is a up dated clamp for this line. A clamp with rubber coating on it

Correction. Did NOT dip line.. Just the bracket. Although dippin the line without gettin it in it might not be a bad idea
Thanks guys, I am almost positive that it's the problem fuel line that has the clamp after doing some searching. I found that dieselorings.com has the line for around $45. I'll probably just get it from them since I will be getting o rings and a couple other parts from them anyway.
Well I just want to update this thread for future referance. It was the passengers side fuel line. I didn't get a picture of it but the line was rubbed real thin the whole width of where the clamp goes around the line. I guess it got too thin and blew from the pressure. To avoid another incident with rubbing through the line I put a short piece of the clear rubber line around where the clamp wraps the line. And I figured since I was doing this I would rebuild the turbo, put on a WW, and rebuild the fuel bowl. Everything is back to normal and I shouldn't have to worry about the line or turbo for quite a while.

There is (was) a rubber coating on the clamp, but on my clamp it had worn off.
