High boy bushing source.

Hey all. I ordered a set of bushings for the front frame shackles and the rear frame shackles from this company. http://www.aftermarketsuspensionpart...0-4WD-1974.htm

I ordered them 2 days ago. Got them today.

LMC has the rears and the fronts but expects you to buy the whole rear shackle and the whole "front bushing retainer?". If you have the ability to press out the bushings, this should be the way to go. I will make sure they fit shortly as I am doing a whole spring and bushing replacement. They are made of poly and the boxes say energy suspension on them. So far seem to be high quality and appear to be the right sizes. I will report back when I get them in.

If they don't fit. I will be machining my bushings out of Delrin just like chasetruck754 did.

Got the front spring rear hangers out of the frame. The bushings in fact fit perfectly. I should have the rear spring shackle bushings out next week.

The rear spring hanger bushings do not fit. These are too small and too wide.

So don't order part #6807. The front bushings worked great. For the rear I bit the bullet and ordered the whole hanger from LMC. I originally was going to machine them from Delrin, however the piece I bought is too small for the rear. Oh well.

Yeah either that or for the front. The part numbers on the bushings match the parts breakdown for the kit. So that part is correct. However their fit chart is obviously wrong.
