So i got the tow mirrors. about a week ago a rock came loose from my tire and busted the glass in my passenger side mirror. I looked at Tousley but didn't see anything. Can i replace just the mirror "glass" or do i have to buy a hole new mirror assembly

I'm about to order one of these from Tousley because a school bus driver wasn't watching what he was doing. Thinking the price on just the glass with the black plastic piece was about 50 bucks. Not bad at all.

Right Not bad really. So how dose it come out and then reinstall? I don't want to break anything behind the glass. Can you just pop it out ? It looks like thats the only way
You might also want to inquire at an auto glass place, I believe they can do it without disassembling the whole mirror.
I was going to offer you the glass for just the shipping, then saw yours was the heated style....

I may get scolded by some more experienced users on here for saying this... but yes. I spent almost an hour working with mine after picking up the pieces off the road. I am not a mechanic, I just like figuring stuff out. It appears to just pop out and then snap back together. There are some plastic components that attach to the black plastic holding the glass. You have to be careful with these, they attach in a ball and socket type method. Those plastic pieces act like a stem that is inserted into the motors that move the glass. You have to use some pliers to compress them for them to enter the motors. When you first remove the piece that holds the glass, you will probably have to use pliers to remove the stem from the motor. Just be super careful not to crush the ball part sticking out. Some other users here might have a better way of doing this. Hopefully they will chime in, but this is the way I am planning to do it.

I'm fairly sure that the difference in the heated mirrors and the standard mirrors is a component that's behind the glass. I think the glass part itself is the same. I could be completely wrong about this but when I was looking at mine, (standard, unheated) I noticed a place were a heating unit could go behind the glass.
You wouldn't happen to have a driver's side mirror glass lying around would you?
Here are the documents, part numbers included.
If you order the kit, it will come with some of the little plastic parts, which is handy in case you accidentally break or lose the original pieces.
