Ok..so...once my baby is back rolling and mobile, I'm finishing up the cab mounts and welding, patching the floor, undercoating the cab, some sort of sound deadener in the cab, and will be starting on the interior. I actually don't think it will take as long as everything else. I worked in an upholstery shop when I was 16-17 so I seen all kinds of hot rods come in. I just had a question..well two questions. One..is the body is straight and while it does have its minor rust issues, theyre not bad. The drip guard is still intact, but could still use some cleaning up and repair. what are some ways I could do this?
My other question is about steering wheels. I feel like once all is said and done, the steering wheel sets apart the truck. Its what your hands guide as you go down the road, the feeling of the truck as it rolls over pavement. I would actually like a wooden steering wheel. Besides grant, anybody know any steering wheel company's that sell wood ones?
