Hey does any body know where I can get that stupid factory XLT leather steering wheel wrap redone?? Mine went to hell. I've noticed that most do that. Ford house told me that I have to buy a new steering wheel. I don't think so! It was so bad that I took it off. Now there are four notches on the steering wheel, where the seams were. I was hoping it would look the same as the steering wheels in the XL and Customs. Any help would be greatly appreciated. The truck looks great except for that one eye sore. Thanks
Had I hung onto mine you could've had it FREE. I took mine off about 1.5 years ago because I hated the squishy feeling it gave your hands. I like a nice firm steering wheel and will put up with the four notches. I actually find them handy as my thumb fits in the groove and makes it easy to turn the wheel. After a while you don't even notice it anymore.
If you are going for an all original restoration, go to a junkyard. That is probably a whole lot cheaper than the Ford Dealership. If all you want is something that will not flake off in your hands like I wanted, go to Walmart or anyother store like that and buy a $5 cover to go on yours.
I know this isn't exactly what you are looking for but Ford has a steering wheel cover out with the three Ford logos on it and it looks real good(got one from the wife). I was real ify about ther thing until I put it on, now I get alot of complements on it.

too much stuff
I have a 94 F150 XL and wanted the leather stearing wheel. They sell leather covers that you sew on your self with pre made holes. It came out looking like stock.
I've got a 94' that's going to hell also. A local upholstery shop told me they could recover the wheel. He said the leather may be slightly different than factory, but close. You might check with a local shop.
