My newest truck is a '82 F-150 with 3/4 ton springs and a 3 inch bodylift. best running 300 6 cylinder I've ever seen, NP-435 tranny and NP-208 transfer case, limited-slip 3.73:1 9 inch rearend. shortbox. So far I've cleaned the interior and painted it with krylon fusion semi gloss brugandy, put in red carpet, and woodgrain dash bezels from a '86 f-series. This summer I plan to replace the rusted sheetmetal with a '87 cab and interior, good inner fenders ,core support, and hood off my '80 parts F-250 and also new fenders. Just enough to keep me busy and broke
1986 F-150 4x4 ( 5/8 Ton ) with: 351W HO, Rebuilt C6, 9" rear w/4:10's, 4" suspension lift, and 3" body lift. Truck came from New Mexico, so no rust. Just restored the body and repainted it bright yellow.
1980 F-350 4X4, 400 automatic with 4.10 rear and just turned 85,000 miles. Maintained in pristine condition since new. Added 16" alloy wheels and additional guages, including vacuum guage. Included the "Ranger" and "Explorer" packages...
Assembled in Norfolk, Virginia and purchased in Arlington, Virginia shortly after "Urban Cowboy" made owning a black Ford truck a basic necessity. Moved the truck and me to Utah in 1985. Immediately added dual exhaust and a Carter electric fuel pump for hauling my boat at high altitude.
