I put a lot of miles on my cars- but I use AMSOIL synthetic so they go a long time with no major engine wear. It's well worth it.
I'm actually a GM man, but for some reason I'm inexorably drawn to FORD TRUCKS when I need a truck. This is my second Ford, the first was a '76 F150 which I actually thought was a better built truck than the '82, IF you could just get one in good shape.
There's something about small block Chevy trucks that just bores me...I had a 1980 Chevy 3/4 ton 2WD and got rid of it

Daily Driver is my 85 f-150 wif tha 300 I-6, 4 speed od, 3.08's, 2.25" pipes, no cats single in dual out flowmaster with 3 1/2" chrome tips next to the hitch.
Wifes ride/grocery/parts getter 89 caravan multi port 3.0 v-6 totally stock.....so far.
For Sale 83 crown vic with 302 CFI AOD & 3.08 8.8.
Also for sale 85 Dodge D-100 318 2 bbl & 727 auto
Fishing rig... 59 15' Aluminum Starcraft V-bottom boat with a 72 evinrude 50 horse.

88 Benz 420 SEL auto. timing chain snapped under EASY acceleration. what a coincidence. lol only car i will have as a daily driver and only auto ill have till im 40 unless a good deal comes my way.
