my recently acquired project is an 88 jeep wrangler, been an entertaining change of pace. jeep world is kinda fun because there doesn't seem to be much jeep fanboy-ism, as soon as the jeep stuff breaks folks encourage swapping in chevy/ford/dodge/whatever as a superior replacement.
'84 F-150. Two wheel drive, 8' bed, rebuilt 300 I-6 and rebuilt C5 auto trans.
It's got the original shocks, so it'll need a new set of them soon. Needs a new bed, but the cab corners are fine so far. This is my only vehicle, as of this writing.
My daily driver for the last 2 years has been my 1961 ford F-500,
223ci inline6,4spd,5.45 gear's,and now 9.00-20 tires.
dose 67mph at 3600rpm it gets a good 6mpg on a good non highway day..
with them old 7.50-20's it'll do 63mph at 3800rpm.
36" to 40" tire made a big difference in this beast highway speed....
I so want a diesel in this heap......with 6spd tran's or even the 5spd trans
as long as it's an od tran's with a 5.9L turbo diesel i front of it.
I drive daily my 86 F150, 302FI, runs great. I also have a 79 F100 351 Edelbrock 4bbl and intake, headers, turbo exhaust, little lower than stock, big tires nice rims......and very fast. I do need to work on the brakes a little.
My daily driver is an '01 Chrysler Sebring. My wife picked it out, but I've got to say I like it. Had some problems, but so far Chrysler honors the warranty with no arguments.
My wife's daily driver/our family car is an 00 Chrysler Town & Country. Nice and roomy, easy to haul the kid and big stuff.
My fun 'froading vehicle (once my daily driver) is '94 Honda Passport (aka Isuzu rodeo). Built up with 33" mud tires, lockers front and back, tera flex low gear, and a winch.
My currently broken pickup, soon to be fixed and have a camper, is an '85 F250 w/460.
84 F150 XLT LARIAT Club Cab As a daily go to work and play driver and when gas isnt too bad for longer trips in to the woods.
2003 Kia Sedona Minivan(Wifes Vehicle) for the family hauler.(I cant stand minivans nor can my wife, just traded in her sentra, But we're in our 30s with 3 kids and 2 dogs, time to grow up.) This things got a peppy 3.5L V6 though with a transaxle.
And from time to time Hummvees, M35A2 Duece and a half, 5 t Trucks, and CUCVs (85 Chevy custom with the diesal and 4 wheel drive configured for military purposes)
