Got the truck out today and figured I get some pics of some things that I have gotten finished. Bed is coated on the inside now. Still need to install the front tie-downs. My interior guy made the floor mats and piece of carpet over the tranny tunnel. It's not attached yet; it's just sitting there. The shifter and E-brake boots are sewn up but I still have to make the pedestal for the shifter and the trim ring for the e brake handle. Arm rests are now covered in the leather. Only things left are painting the closeout below the glove box that will hide the a/c unit and make the ac lines.

Thank you Randle
Thank you sir.
Thanks!
Yep, that would be cool!
Thank you! I'm not finished with the door panel deal yet.
Thanks and funny
Thanks!
I think there are a few of how the speakers are mounted but I don't think I took pictures of the kick panels when I made them.

Yep, this truck is space capsule clean, with nothing floating around, like an old french fry... I shudder to think of what would come out of my cab?? Some of it might be a bit embarrassing...... gulp.. I used to carry my goose gun behind the seat.. and a CHP wanted me to take it out, and show it to him... I said.. "Not a chance". "You might tie me to some sort of crime, if you found my fingerprints on it" "I know it is clean now, and I am not touching it".. He pulled it out, checked that it was not loaded, and let me put it back... I suspected that it could be a trap, but I may be overly cautious...

Finally got the cab off the chassis to finish up the floors and firewall then send to the body shop. I think I spent 10 hrs grinding, scraping, and sanding the 47 years of dirt and dried up grease from the bottom of the cab. I probably remove two gallons of dirt from all the cracks and crevasses as well. Got the recessed firewall fully welded in and finished up. Also finished up the rain gutter on the fire wall. Lastly, I primed, seam sealed, then coated the inside of the cab, the fire wall, and the bottom of the cab with Second Skin Audio sound deadener as well as their Firewall heat barrier. Same stuff as Lizard skin I think. I did it from the underside of the dash all the way up the back wall of the cab. I'll be putting some fat mat in as well as some closed cell foam insulation too. I want to make sure the inside is as quiet as possible with this little rattle trap motor. next is to get the chassis back in the garage, finish up boxing the frame and other misc welding, then paint the frame and engine and start reassembling when the cab comes back from paint. Pics below……
I've been reading through and was interested in how you did the rear? I see you did a c notch and some bags? It looks like an axle flip. Could you describe it more and what parts you went with? If it's in the thread, I didn't see it and I've read through it a few times.
Also like and interested in the fuel cell.
Again your build is awesome and I don't have the talents to copy. Thanks for sharing,
Kenny
