I'm thinking about picking this up too. So its just the main unit and the single channel EGT kit that's needed?
The main unit (DashBoss gateway OBDII) is a good starter, if you want to add EGT then get the EGT single channel kit, then for another $30 you can add Fuel psi.
The link that Josh provided also shows adding Fuel psi sensor and set-up. Here is where I got the sensor, but any 5v sensor will work. If you go with a different 5v pressure sensor, you will need to find out what the volt to psi settings are.
Get the EGT kit from the DashBoss website, it's much easier to hook up than the first one I used.
Lilpooh, thanks for the info. Your post over on the DashBoss forum was the deciding factor for me purchasing the DashBoss vice the SQII. Do you mind sharing what alerts you have set up on your DashBoss?

Unfortunately as Josh has found out, being a beta tester has its drawbacks. Every time we get a update (sometimes 4+ a day), the DashBoss resets to factory defaults. So I don't bother setting up my alerts, it just keep an eye on my readings.
For those who set-up parameters with alerts, I recommend you read this.
The mounting possibilities are endless. You can go with a store bought suction cup, solid mount, or with a little imagination make your own custom mount.
I made my own from Lexan (plexiglas), cut the shape I wanted and used a heat gun to make the bends needed, then used industrial Velcro to mount to dash.
As for battery life, I run the 4s. Full charge and left for Canada fish trip, an 8hr drive. With about 5 apps running in background, push notification on. After 8hr drive, battery went from 100% to 43%.
