LOL!! 8 hour drive is long enough for me!!! When I use the charger with that mount, the phone sits at an angle, which is no big deal.

I have thought about spray paint the outside with tint for lens or spray with the Krylon Fusion matched paint for plastic.

Perfect! If your head unit has composite RCA jacks, then you use DashBoss video out to display the gauge readings on your head unit.

I just checked out that video. Does the RCA cable connect to the Dashboss unit or the iPhone?

Cable goes from the iPhone to the head unit. The Apple composite cable is for RCA jacks. If your head unit has a VGA input, then you could use the iphone4 and 4s with the iPad VGA cable.

Did you check the rubber line to the sensor or the wiring?

?????????? The MAP sensor has a vacuum line that runs from the intake manifold to the sensor. Also has an electrical connector.

Sounds like either the connector or vacuum line is compromised to throw you CEL

Picture time!! In the first pic my hose is RED, your will probably be BLACK, this hose goes from the intake manifoild fitting to the MAP sensor. The second pic I'm pointing at the bracket for the MAP sensor, behind bracket you will find the MAP sensor. The hose or the fitting in the intake may be clogged with soot.
