AC Vent Removal

AC Removal. Sorry for the typo. Anyone know how to remove/replace one of the AC Vents? Somehow the little plastic clip broke on the one to the immediate right of the head unit. The two air deflectors no longer move simultaneously and it annoys me.

Air Vent Replacement

Yes, It is pretty simple. You must remove the center dashboard panel surrounding the stereo and air controls. If you google 2008 f250 radio removal, you can print downloadable instructions. The center dashboard panel contains the vents. Once you remove the dash panel, flip it over to view the vents from the back and you will see clips that hold the vent into the dash panel. The vents have clips on the back that you can pry loose(from the backside),and the entire vent can then be removed from the center panel. I bought used vents from Ebay for 1/3 the cost from the dealer. The replacement vent simply snaps back into the center dash panel. I had two vents break just as yours did. Good Luck!
