99' Ranger lower control arm ?
My friend and I are going to be replacing the front left lower control arm on my other friends 99' 4 wheel drive Ranger. My question is about how we should deal with the torsion bar, I know there are tools out there to use but I've only found expensive ones. Would a modified puller work? Input please.

This is lower ball joint replacement. Once the ball joint is disconnected, the lower control arm can rotate down, taking all the torsion off of it:

Once you get the torsion released, removal of the LCA should be easier.
