Manual hub question

If I convert the ESOf on my 2002 do I need to replace the vacuum axle seals skf 28600? I ask because they are expensive and don't want to replace them if all they did was seal the hub for vacuum. Of coarse I don't want dirt/ water on the hub either. Just not sure which seal does what. Thanks Anthony

They are for vacuum for sure. Mine were worn and drove it over year without using electronic lock.Once replaced they worked fine, and nothing else was damaged or needed replaced. Dont know if they protect anything else, but didnt hurt anything either.

I was thinking so. Couldn't get your part number to pull up to take a look. Glad you got it all figured out.
