refresh my memory

I''m pulling an engine from a friends truck and installing a junkyard engine in place of it

Truck is a e99 replacement engine came from e99 e series bus

I know that the drivers side exhaust manifold is diffrent but will the van one work in the truck?

Ill be using the van turbo with adapter but swap the truck spider onto the engine. Should I use the van pedestal or truck pedestal? Iirc there is a difference

Don't know on an E99 Jim, but Late vans, the manifold and oil cooler were different than the truck motor. Had to use truck manifold and oil cooler. I don't have a pic of the manifolds, but if you look at the cooler you can see, it goes the "opposite direction" the F series rise and go up towards the top of the motor, and the E's go towards the bottom.

I wonder if your van cooler would work on a 86 E350 van. I could use one, Mine needs a lot of welding to fix.

If I was good on the computor I'd try, I just don't have much training on pictures and all. Haven't even try to hook a camera up to it.
