When i open the doors, my dome light doesnt come on. How can i fix this?
Also, my truck has cruise control, when i set it and it engages, no indicator light comes on on the dash. Is that normal?

GEM modules receives signal from door ajar switch's. GEM completes pull-in for interior light relay in central junction box to feed interior dome light. Interior light circuit is powered by Fuse #14-15amp in CJB under left side dash. Cargo lights are also on this circuit so check for shorted/burnt bulbs if fuse is blown. Water may get into cargo light lens.

The lights work if i use the switches on the lenses. They dont work if i only open the door. I dont know what GEM means, ill check out the fuses tomorrow.
Im not really sure how to answer you.. I am a smartass by nature, and your question is rhetorical. The whole idea behind cruise control is to set a desired speed and have the ECU control it instead of you doing it with your foot and the accelerator. I am only asking if there is supposed to be a dash light that indicates the cruise is on.
Thanks, so to sum up my original post, everything works as it should as far as the cruise control goes. Is there a light on the dash that is supposed to indicate that the cruise is on?
Bluegrass, im sorry if you took that the wrong way (you obviously did) i was only saying im not sure how to answer you and i thought my OP was clear as to what i was asking.
Yes a light should come on and it could be the switches in the doors or the GEM module which is behind the fuse box in the lower left corner of the dash.
Generic Electric Module.
