no reverse REBUILD? E40D
Hi i jsut bought a 94 f150 5.0 4x4 with a E40D and it does not have reverse. I have check the shift cables and all seem to be working. I have been a auto tech for 6 yrs but have never broke in to a auto trans. and was just wondering the level of diff. to take it down and build it back up. I found a rebuild kit on ebay with all clutchs and seals for 200$. Are there was specail tools needed.

Thanks for the info I just lucked up and found a used one for 200$ but now it seems like the shifted isn't gated anymore it like it just more across all the gear and does not pop down when u shift from park to R N or D
