Bad fuel pump ? ?
My 87 f250 cranks but doesn't turn over. It has the 302 in it with dual fuel tanks. My first sign of trouble was the other day when it would shut off at idle. The rear tank was nearly empty so I switched to the front and it seemed to run fine after a few miles. Today it wouldn't start until I cranked it a few times and then it would run at higher rpms. The last time I tried to start it, it just cranked and got nowhere. I'm thinkin maybe it's the fuel pump but how can I tell?
