This might be a dumb question...i'm kinda new to these diesels! Where is the Glow Plug Relay on my 97 350? Guy at the store figured fender well; there is a relay there...put the test light on both large terminals (as suggested in the No Start Flowchart) Only lit up one terminal. But then i find another relay that looks the same under center cover beside fuel bowl. I went to move rubber boot from main terminal and it snapped the stud right out of relay!! I'm thinking thats the one?! If so, what is the relay on fender well?

Sorry, I guess I didn't completely read your question. On the 99-03 trucks, the GPR is mounted next to the fuel bowl, sounds like you found it. The other relay, i'm not sure. It could be the starter solenoid I guess. We have an air intake heater relay, but it sits next to the GPR. You should get better answers in the 95-97 section.
i went through all this yesterday. my glow plug relay went bad but i have a 2003. on mine there are 2 relays ontop of the motor to the left of the fuel bowl if looking at the engine from the front of the truck. the taller one is the aih relay the shortr one is the glow plug relay. the one on the fender is the starter relay
