Here's the run down. I replaced the fuel pump on my 2000 F250 V10 and ever since it will click off the gas nozzle at 3/4 tank. So last night I tilted the bed up to see if I have a pinched vent or line. Nothing was pinched. I took off the filler neck and its connected vent line. They were clear of debris. Also, the line going to the evap canister under the hood was clear too. Any ideas on what may be causing this? I believe my year is not included in the TSB.
I looked at this thread due to I had the same problem. I found my main fill line kinked and the other lines rotten so replaced all the other lines and fixed the kink. You already went there tho. sorry

I went through and looked for rotten lines. All was good. Still no luck on trying to figure out what the problem is.
After the first click will it allow you to still fill up all the way? If so then I have a similar problem but thought it was just the way the tank fills. I have a flowmaster 46 gal tank, so having the tank stop at ¾ is just enough for me to catch my breath and grab my wallet before completely emptying my wallet.<?xml:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-comfficeffice" /><o></o>
Yes I can fill it all the way up after the first click. I just have to pump it extremely slow or fight the clicking. I never had the problem until I replaced the pump.
It’s an interesting problem. The only thing that I can think of is pressure building up. So there must be some sort of vent issue if all the lines are clear could it be a misrouted vent line? Maybe one of the vent or return lines was swapped. <?xml:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-comfficeffice" /><o></o>
<o></o> Sorry for the cryptic first post. the tank I have is a Transflow tank. Stupid smart phones….. <o></o>
I have tried moving the nozzle every direction. It happens at all gas stations too. What if I swapped the two fuel lines going into the pump accidentally? Would that cause this issue or would the truck even start?
I would look at the lines again. It may be a pain to get to everything but, to me, is sounds like you have some lines mixed up. Either vent lines or a return line. I can’t see any other reason for the problem.<?xml:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-comfficeffice" /><o></o>
