It started raining here around 1pm i think. Not too harshly but not a soft drizzle, enough to soak my hat and hoodie. My phone says it is 43 degrees so compared to last night it is pretty warm.

Here are pics of my new long block. I think i will get new pistons and bring the comp. up to 9.5-1 and also install a new cam. The guy also had a new centerforce clutch and stans try-y headers, all for $900

That's pretty sweet! IT looks like it is going to be quite a fun project.

Scored a deal on that one.

Everyone like this rain we've been having? Makes it feel like winter finally. And the ski resorts are starting to open up

I saw some desk top dyno #'s on the cam I want with my heads and compression ratio and they came up with 368 hp and 470 lb/ft torque, not bad for $1500 engine

We just got brand new gutters put on, last saturday. Right before all this rain hit. I'm glad it was done then. Apparently Crystal Mountain is already getting blasted by snow.

That's crazy. What are your plans for all that power?

You can never have to much power I will be using the truck to tow my jeep and I would like to have a camper on the back also. These things get poor mileage so I might as well build it for the fun factor

That's a pretty good use for it i suppose. Those sort street drags between you and the show off camaro might also get interesting.

Centerforce makes a very nice clutch. I ran a centerforce 2 clutch in
my 88 Ranger and talk about a good clutch. It would rip you head off
if you dropped it . I had burned 2 factory ones up before that.

I still haven't changed the clutch in my 88... There isn't much left of it either. I hope to get rid of it before i decide to work on it...
