afternoon tim, I am now. I was supposed to drive all the way out to enumclaw to drop my brother off at a U-haul store then drive to carbonato to help him move. but he thought it would be better that I don't waste the gas to do that and got his other friend to do it.
Psh, i'm sure we could find you a bench seat and some seat belts to bolt down in the bed I had 2 friends ride in the bed on the way home from Puyallup when the fair was in town last year. Doing 80 on 167 with 2 people in the bed was a little nerve racking. But they wanted to do it. We had a guy pull up in a minivan asking to buy my friends girlfriend's hat who was in the back of the truck.
I also had 2 friends in the bed along with some spare tires and a tool box while i did doughnuts in the snow, it was unsafe and i was worried but at the time it was fun.
Well got some news, I managed to sell my Cadillac last week. I was kinda on the fence about selling it, because I loved the car, but at the same time, I need to get a truck to use as a work/hauling truck.
Here's the car, in case you guys never saw
So until I have enough saved up to buy a halfway decent truck (had to pay off my dad some), Here's what I get to drive (Sorry I don't have a better picture... I'll get one soon).
1994 Chevrolet G20 Van with conversion done by Glaval. This thing is a tank. Has a raised roof with front and middle captains chairs and rear bench seat, and a TV inside. And just when you thought your van was cool..
That was in the "frankenstorm" of 2007. I don't know how all you mainland/city folk fared, but the island got slammed. 2.5 feet of snow, and some nasty ice that dropped trees like nobodies business.
So what's going on? Do I need to get a Costco size bottle of
prozac ? Fluoxetine - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia .
Yes the election SUCKED now we need to get to work and not
let it happen again.

Jameson
I got a G20 too that has a tv and dvd player. Pretty much the same dealio, it's nice for road trips. I don't remember having a big snow storm in 07 and if we did then we didn't have much here. The worst i know of was this last winter, we had almost 3 feet of snow and about 2 inches thick of ice on everything. Same story, trees breaking in half.
Anywho what kind of truck are you on the market for?

I don't think the mainland got hit as bad we did. The island is just north of a major convergence zone that hovers over Everett. We had wind, then about a foot of snow a few days later. The next day, it rained (more like drizzled) the entire day, melting part of the snowpack. That night it dropped from about 40 degrees to about 18 degrees, and everything froze with a nice coating of ice. The next day it snowed almost another 2 feet, so the trees were covered. Then we got 60 mph winds with roughly 80-90 mph gusts. Because the trees were covered with ice and snow and heavy, they started dropping like flies. Sounded like machine guns going outside my house (surrounded by trees out here). Then it melted, snowed, snowed a bit more, then about a week after the first snow, it started to warm up. We were without power for about 8 days. It was nasty. My friend had over 150 trees of various sizes down on a 2 mile road to his house.
Mainly looking for a 3/4 or 1 ton, with a IDI and 5 speed manual. Gives me the power I need with a fuel economy I can afford
