Just got off the freeway yesterday starting from a red light and look behind me and all I see is a wall of grayish white smoke. I pull over at the next side street, leave it idling, no smoke, runs as it always did, no loss of antifreeze. So I resume my drive and immediately go into regen, I drove through the regen, around 15 miles that I didn't need to waste, no more smoke>nothing???
Any idea's.
Potentially a build up of moisture in your CAC (Intercooler).
Was a light take off from the light, probably never reached 1800 RPM, don't think I would have sucked any moisture up that might have settled in the cac, but one never knows.
I'll belch a white smoke screen about 1-2minutes into regen after sitting at a long light on a cool day (60F or cooler) and everything had a chance to cool down. It's predictable. It belches no matter how light I'm on the throttle. It's nasty smelling like lighter fluid on hot coals and the smoke lingers like unburnt fuel--definitely not moisture. It clears up within a minute or so after things heat up again. Dealer says it's normal.

Thanks, seems kinda of strange seeing I just got off the freeway but it is cool now(mid 40's) and if it started it's regen at the light I can see how it could happen.
Thank you Uncle Sam, what would we do without you.
