I just bought an 08 Lariat cc 4x4 last week and plan on replacing the shocks this weekend with the RS9000XL's, question I have is how do I tell if my truck is leveled by previous owner? As it sits the truck seems level to me, rear is not higher than the front. Is there a block or spacer to look for the 2 inch or so rise that a leveling kit would have? Different shock part numbers for stock height vs 2.5 plus vs 4, etc. thanks for the help.

 

Check the rear blocks.... Most leveling kits are 2.5" in front and a 350 block in the back to add an inch to the rear for a true level stance. (Assuming you have a F250). I can check the height in the AM.

There's also spacer blocks in the front on the coil spring, but honestly, I can't tell you specifically what to look for as I don't know what mine looked like before the leveling kit.

 

there would be a spacer on top of the coil spring in the front, in stock for it shoutld only have a rubber isolater on top about 1/2" thick....
