Stewart,
How do you like that digital torque wrench?
I put it on my Christmas list.

38R and parts, you are going to have a fun truck when done. I take it you are doing injectors and tunes also? You have the rights guys helping out, let us know what you think when done.

It works great. Just one more toy for the tool box!

Are you up for an audience to cheer or lend a hand? I would like to see this tooling in action.

If so when is the big day?

Not sure when the big day will happen, my big order is still showing "pending," and tunes are probably a week out.

Tim is a good guy to have around when wrenching. Just keep us posted on the ETA that way we can all plan to be there.

The more, the merrier!

Sweet! Only waiting on the injectors to ship now, everything else was shipped yesterday or today, so by mid next week I should have everything on hand. Too bad I couldn't have them now, this 4-day weekend would have been prime wrenching time. I guess next Saturday (the 17th) is going to be the best time, before then I'll try to get as much removed as I can. That's also the live-tuning day, isn't it?

With the cool temps and moisture, if I remove the turbo and up-pipes and it ends up sitting for a few days like that, am I taking a chance of getting condensation and rust in the cylinders?

Ok now you are making me blush .

I am no way skilled like Peter or Stewart but I do have a way of figuring out weird issues that have people in a pinch, I make sure those doing the hard work are comfortable and last I always have weird tools with me that seem to help others .

I was hoping the 17th wouldn't be the day as I will be close but not close enough. I will be camping and riding at Hollister that weekend. If its another time I could probably make it.

I can only do this type of project on Friday or Saturday, weekdays are always booked solid. You going up with quads or bikes? Or both?

Ugh, it is.

I won't be able to make it until much later in the day. I probably won't be back from Joey's place (Modesto) until around 6ish, is what I'm guessing.

I'll drop my inch/lb torque wrench off with Pete so you'll have it handy.

Pete, you gonna want my topside foam cushion too?

You rock! I also have a couple of friends willing to stand around and watch, maybe hold a rag or a part. Or a drink.
