stans headers
i just received my 244y (352-428 FE) tri y headers from stans. they will fit the engine and clear everything on it just fine, but looking in my empty engine bay, it seems like it wont clear the front drive shaft in my 73 ford f-100 4 X 4. I forgot which member it was i talked to who has these same headers, but hopefully he'll reply to this or anyone who would know. thanks!

my front driveshaft is on the drivers side and it goes just to the right of the driver half of bellhousing. i'll put it this way: it looks like it is right where the header collecter needs to be

Well sure, you've got a drivers drop x-case just like the rest of us Ford boys. I only wondered because you mentioned your engine was out and it made me wonder if it was an optical illusion. Put your engine in, and bolt up your headers. If, by some fluke they don't fit, call Stan and he'll make it right. I'll bet you a wooden nickel they'll fit fine. Sure, they're snug, but they're headers.
