I'm going to probably catch some flack from you guys but I've been running some tests over the past few months and I've noticed I've gotten better mileage when adding 32oz of two stroke to my diesel than adding the appropriate amount of DK.
The Duramax (01) and Cummins (03) were both common rail injected trucks back when we still had a national high sulfur fuel supply and they did fine. Dont see why it would hurt these fuel systems to run a little 2-stroke.
The only concern I would have was if my DPF was still installed, but deleted I don't see any issues. I will still run DK every few tanks, but the 2 stroke seems to give me better results.

32oz per tank? How big of a fuel tank do you have. If I added 16 oz per tank, would that benefit the truck...I've only added DK.

Im not sure I would run it in my truck if I was still stock, but then again it is an ashless oil so I cant believe that it would hurt? The recomended ammount is 1oz per gallon, so if your full add 30oz then every time you get fuel add 1 oz per gallon of fuel you pump.

I would like more info and opinions.
Thanks,
Mike
30.5 Gallons.
I've heard as much as a quart in 24 gallons. Wouldn't ever go that high. Last month I ran marine grade two stroke and seemed to get a hair more water out of my fuel water seperator. Possibly a coincidence, but considering a good marine grade 2 stroke tends to have (more) demulsifiers and I almost always buy diesel from the same high volume station, I feel it helped.
So you're adding an additional 1/4 gallon of fuel to the tank, are you adding that to your MPG calculations? That fuel alone would be expected to add about 3.5 miles of travel to the tank.

I did. Regardless, if I did or not, I ran the same 300 mile trip last month twice. First with DK, then ran a tank without an additive, then on the second trip, I added 32 oz supertech outboard ashless and hand calculate 0.75 more miles per gallon which on a 30.5 gallon tank yields 22.8 more miles per tank.
