another proportioning valve question?

As some of you have read from my last post, I lost my brakes. The only leak I have found is the proportioning valve. Its the only part of the braking systemt that hasnt been replaced. With that being said I need one, just not sure what to get. The OEM part is obsolete. Originally a manual drum/drum, converted to power drum/drum. Will any aftermarket valve work, what have you had success with?

If I were you I would grab a prop. valve off of a donor truck at the wrecking yard. LMC truck might have a reproduction - otherwise it's obsolete.

yeah, this one came from a donor truck. I figured maybe a universal wilwood type valve might work. Its the only part of the braking system that isnt new.

Check pages 122 & 123 of the LMC truck catalog.

They don't call them "proportioning valves", they call them "combination valves".

Good luck with it.
